From the mill town of Lewiston, Maine to the limelight was not an easy trip for singer-songwriter Ray Lamontagne. Fresh on the heels of his RCA records debut Trouble, Lamontagne played the first show at First Act Guitar Studio to a stunned audience equipped with an acoustic guitar, a stand-up bass player, and his signature raspy vocals (think Richie Havens). Lamontagne finished his set with his single, “Trouble” to a standing ovation as he smiled to the crowd.
