Staps spied this axe in our First Act Studio for Artists and he bought it right off the shelf. The asymmetrical, double-cutaway carved top body with offset horns caught his eye and he knew it would be perfect for laying down tunes of the most dizzying tonal complexity. The mahogany, C-profile neck features a maple fingerboard and shortened scale proportions for comfortable, nimble playing. Meanwhile, two hand-wound First Act humbuckers with Alnico magnets make this axe’s sound thick and powerful.
