Two particular ideas went into the making of this bass: 1) discarding the assumptions of how a bass guitar should be built, and 2) the color blue! The body shape was designed by Peet himself, and the maple fretboard was painted blue. Other unique points include the graphite nut, knobs set into the lower, carved rim of the bass, and the combination of one Bartolini P pickup with two Bartolini J pickups. This unique pickup arrangement, along with the alder body that provides a wide and even range of tonal response, makes this all-blue bass a tonal monster!
