After decades of being the preeminent Goth band, The Cure has continued to create dark, lovely, romantic jewels of songs and to sell out huge venues for their spectacular live shows.

The debut album Three Imaginary Boys was released in 1979 to great acclaim. The Cure went on to release many albums over the next couple of decades,  including Pornography (1982), The Head on the Door (1985), Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me (1987), Disintegration (1989), Wish (1992), Wild Mood Swings (1996) and Bloodflowers (2000).

Their latest album, The Cure (2004), debuted in the top 10 on album charts worldwide. The media has been enthusiastic, calling it “their best album in years.”

Their 2004 North American “Curiosa” tour was also stunningly successful. Happily, for legions of fans, The Cure is showing no signs of disintegration.
