Chris LeMasters is the guitarist for Ontario-based metalcore outfit Dead and Divine, who have been tearing up the metal scene on both sides of the border since their first independent release, 2005’s What Really Happened at Lover's Lane? After a few years of near-constant touring, the band released their follow-up album, The Fanciful, in 2008. The new album features several less traditional metal instruments, including harmonicas and slide guitar, but the core of the band is still there: sledgehammer riffs, powerful lyrics and ferocious intensity.
